An online article on the BBC News website posted by correspondent Judith Burns on 20-Jul-2021 reporting that freedom of information requests by Big Brother Watch, suggesting that 86 out of 300 councils that had replied said they had used automated tools to assess benefit claims within the past three years.

Thanks for sharing, this was a really helpful and insightful read for me - especially the Big Brother watch report accessible through the BBC article links. I'd be interested to hear/find out more about what local authorities who are/have taken a predictive analytics approach do to alleviate resident concerns around the use of their data in a predictive manner and how we can look to increase trust levels.
