• Anyone supporting others with money-related conversations who wants to learn more about the CRF.

What to expect

Led by long-term advocates of a cash-first approach to food insecurity, the Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN), the session will focus on:

· What a cash‑first approach to food insecurity means, and why it’s central to the Government’s goal of reducing reliance on emergency food parcels.

· What the CRF is, and how combining cash‑first crisis payments with financial resilience support could be transformative for people facing hardship.

· Why taking a preventative approach is essential for helping people build long‑term financial resilience.

· How community networks, including money guiders, play a vital role in helping people access cash‑first support in a crisis and strengthen their financial resilience.
