- These pre-print papers describe the results of a non-inferiority randomised controlled trial (Research Registry ID:6809) which determined the risk of onward infection transmission from adult contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases living in England. Participants were randomsied to an intervention arm of i) serial self-administered lateral flow antigen tests plus two PCR tests, with 24-hour release based on a negative lateral flow device result (Daily Contact Testing group) or a control arm of ii) 10 days of self-isolation with one PCR test.
