Development Plans via a survey of the area - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Hello all,

I’m hoping to cast your minds back to when local plans were compiled via a survey of the area - as I understand it, this process was the standard way to do things pre 1995?  Please correct me though.   Anyone remember doing development plans like this? I’m doing research on this and wondered if anyone had any experiences, views, thoughts, how did you carry out the surveys ? Any thoughts/comment/memories/ examples....would be very welcome and appreciated.
