Alternative Developments on Same Site
New Member Posts: 2 Join Date: 17/12/24 Recent PostsJust wondering how different authorities deal with these - if an applicant submits an application with two alternative proposals and there's a 100% fee and a 50% fee, do you;
a - register two separate planning applications, or
b - register one application with both descriptions and produce two decision notices
Thanks in advance

On the other hand, however, it would certainly be cleaner to go for option A, especially if the decisions end up being different for each alternative. Also technically they could, I suppose, both be granted, in which case they may have different conditions that may cause difficulties to produce DNs in your system and if you use your system to discharge conditions could end up in all sorts of confusions...

If you are using Uniform Software for Development Management its not going to be able to cope with multiple decisions / objections / consulations from the same sources against a single application.
A separate appropriate fee for each application dependent on the proposal.

New Member Posts: 2 Join Date: 17/12/24 Recent PostsThanks for the replies, my initial thought was that two separate applications should be registered as it would be easier to sort conditions and issue decision notices, this is the way we've decided to move forward. Thanks
