Landowners as alternatives to registered providers for affordable housing
We have had a number of enquiries about/suggestions that landowners (mainly large estates) could provide affordable housing instead of registered providers and act as landlord instead of a registered provider. Just wondering if anyone has looked into this issue or has any experience of delivering affordable housing in this way, either through rural exception sites or through Section 106 agreements? Thanks.
