Development Managment IT system

Hi, Can anyone recommend an IT system similar to IDOX (but not necessarily offering all its functions /or as sophisticated) for a small planning dept. ( overseas British territory – UK DM principles adhered). At the moment all planning applications are logged onto an excel spreadsheet. There is no GIS or Gazetteer system in place, no automatic dates or template generation . Would be useful to find out what processes LPA used prior to IDOX?!?

Having just completed a tender process to get a new provider, there are several companies/suppliers out there. Their products all offer the basic functions that you are after but some systems are clearly more advanced than others. Try having a look at DEF Software Ltd, Agile (formerly SwiftData Pro), Arcus Global.
