Hi - we are looking to suspend the DM element of our SCI to allow us
to only do the stat minimum in terms of publicity of planning
applications. This would significantly reduce the number of site
notices we need to post and we would continue to send neighbour
letters out. Has anyone found a way to do this? As the regs require an
SCI to be adopted by Full Council, we don't think we can use CEO
urgency powers to vary the SCI. Concern being we would be doing what
statute requires but not in accordance with SCI adopted by Council and
therefore DM decisions could be open to challenge. Answers on a
postcard please. :)
