Hi,
I'm trying to work out the relationship between the Decision Notice & the associated Officer Notes.
Will an Appeal Inspector regard the two documents as essentially as one saga spread across two documents?
Or are there strict rules about what can & cannot be in each?
For example, can a refusal reason be noted in the Officer Notes with no corresponding entry in the Decision Notice?
I suppose the key question is: should an appellant respond in detail to each and every contentious point in the Officer Notes in addition to those in the more formal Decision Notice?
