Under most OS licences, Local Planning Authorities and their contractors may reproduce OS plans for plan preparation purposes subject to the standard OS copyright declaration. I am not clear that these rights extend to Neighbourhood Planning Bodies. Does a Neighbourhood Body have to apply for its own licence. It is difficult to see how a neighbourhood plan can be meaningful without mapping. Open source mapping would be one option. What have other people done?
Hi Daniel, this is an interesting topic.
Are you aware of the Public Sector Mapping Agreement?
It would be useful to get feedback about whether this can help communities, and local authorities therefore, with their mapping capabilities.

Hello
Just wondering what others' experience is of arranging licences for forums to use OS based maps? We are being told they need an PSMA End User Licence.
Thanks

We had to get our forum to fill in a very quick PSMA contractor's licence on a word document and return it. OS have advised us that this is acceptable. Our GIS team were able to sort this out.
