Public sector assets

Twitter just told me about this http://publicassets.communities.gov.uk/ It seems to be education & health (at least near me) but I wonder if they're thinking about a common platform not just for the assets, but for whether anything is planned to happen to them ?

DCLG have no plans to maintain the dataset, although gossip says they are thinking of doing "something" I'm currently seeking NESTA funding to complete and roll out www.unusedassets.org.uk
