About the South Yorkshire Academy for Population Health & Health Inequalities
Our South Yorkshire Academy was launched in 2022 and has been developed in partnership with organisations across South Yorkshire Integrated Care System and Health Education England. The Academy has been developed for staff and volunteers from across our region as:
-
A single place to for information, support and training on health inequalities and population health
-
A space to connect with other staff and volunteers to learn, innovate and improve services – creating a learning system across South Yorkshire
-
A space that celebrates and showcases the good work already being undertaken across our neighbourhoods and places, so that exemplars of good practice can shared with others locally, regionally and nationally to improve the lives of our citizens.
-
Our collective space to support all partners across South Yorkshire to take collective leadership, ownership and action to tackle health inequalities and improve health and wellbeing
