We have recently been through the Reg 27 - 29 stages of our Core Strategy prior to submission but in the light of significant objections from the public to certain greenfield broad locations a decision was taken by our Council to defer submitting the Core Strategy in order to consider options for changes to certain of the broad locations. It looks likely that some changes to the broad locations will be made although these will not affect the overall strategy. it is our view that these changes could be dealt with by way of a 'focused significant change' to the Core Strategy. This would involve publishing and consulting on an addendum before submitting the Core Strategy and the addendum under Reg 30. Has anyone been through this process and what is your experience/advice?
