Withdrawal and Resubmission od Planning Application

Hi Could anyone clarify the specific wording and criteria governing the re-submission of a previously withdrawn application, specifically relating to the content/proposed use class of re-application? ie Can a withdrawn application be re-submitted under a different use class? Many thanks

The Council must be satisfied that the resubmitted application relates to development of the same character or description as the development to which the earlier application related (and to no other development). See regulation 8 of The Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) Regulations 1989. So I'm afraid the likely answer to your question is no.
