PLANNING APPLICATION FEE FOR NON-DOMESTIC SOLAR PANELS

Hi everyone Can I please ask for views on application fees for Solar Panels on non-residential properties. Should we be considering them as plant and machinery at £335, or as an alteration to a non residential building where no floor space is created at £170.00 Any help would be appreciated. We treat them as plant and machinery. Given that they can be freestanding, this seems to be the most consistent approach.
