CIL and retained floor space - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Hi

I am the CIL Officer and have a query regarding if the Additional Information form should be requested in cases of extensions, annexes and conversions where the retained floor space is equal to the new floor space so is netted off.

Should the applicants/agents still fill in the form?

In my mind they should, as they are CIL liable and its just the regulations that allow them to offset the floor space therefore creating a zero calculation, not the LPA deciding they are not CIL liable.

Any comments would be welcomed.
