Use Class of a Registry Office? - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Does anyone know what the use class of a registry office is? The Land Use Gazetteer says that it is B1. However, from doing a quick google search I've found that some councils consider it to be D1, whereas others consider it to be B1.
