I am a part-time S106 monitoring officer, a role which is bolted on to my planning enforcement role. I am looking into the S106 roles within other local authorities, particularly if your local authority S106 officer's role is a purely monitoring one, or are there officers who’s role is more involved in the initial S106 negotiation and drafting? My S106 role maybe extended to full-time with a more active role in the S106 process and therefore I am interested to here from any officer who may hold a more involved role.
