I'd like to hear of the experience of other LPAs if they have recently introduced hot desks with fewer desks than staff. I'm partculary interested in how it has worked in practice in develpoment management , what you would do differently if you could wind the clock back etc. It's not something that anyone in the plannig service here has direct experience of. There is a strongcorporate desire to reduce floorspace occupied by staff. Any tips would be gratefully received. Also it might be useful if we could visit a council not too far from Norwich to see how it workls in practice. Norwich City Council uses Uniform planning software and Civica document management software.
