Now that the consultation process for DPDs has been revised does anyone know of any advice / guidance from CLG on how the Sustainability Appraisal process fits in? The SA guidance sets out a requirement to produce a full SA Report at Preferred Options stage, but this stage is no longer required. Perhaps it would make sense to have a mini options SA Report produced at the time of the Regulation 25 consultation, and then a full SA Report produced alongside the Submission Stage DPD? It would be useful to have some 'official' guidance that this is an acceptable approach to take.
