GPDO rights - minerals, quarries - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Can anyone advise me on GPDO rights...... If GPDO rights for a quarry/mineral extraction site are withdrawn, is it correct that you can then erect any building (no size/height restriction), without the need to obtain planning permission???
