The LGA has now issued a questionnaire on the impact of recent changes to permitted development rights to Directors/Heads of Planning in all local authorities (with the exception of County Councils).
The survey focuses specifically on the new rules that allow a change of use from B1 (a) office to C3 residential purposes without the need for planning permission and increased limits for householder extensions.
The aim of the survey is to help the LGA to develop an accurate evidence base on the impact of these new permitted development rights.
The deadline for the survey is 23rd July 2014.
