I had the pleasure of catching Cllr Tim Cheetham at the LGA's 2012 Annual Conference to talk about progress in the uptake of social media amongst councillors since last year.

The LGA's Annual Conference is over for another year and we're all exhausted but elated with how it went. We're particularly pleased with the online elements which make us even more positive about the uptake of social media and digital channels across the whole of local government, particularly senior officers and councillors.
