I wrote an article entitled “50 Shades of management”, a clear reference to the bestselling book of a similar title. I aimed to catch the eye of the casual reader and get a few more hits. At the end of the article I referred to my book UnLearning management which in the same humorous vain I described as all about whipping managers into shape. I was surprised this week to find my management book was included in a list of S and M publications for those who want to go beyond 50 shades. I suspect I am going to get some stick over this from family and friends.
