Either because they don’t delegate appropriately or find it too difficult to prioritise but mostly because they attend the wrong meetings. They attend meeting based on whose chairing rather than the agenda. With the result they miss meetings that they really should have attended. There has been a lot of comment on social media about the second TV. series of highly praised True Detective. Five episodes in and it couldn't be more confusing. With several back stories to untangle, a complicated plot and difficulty in working out which characters are important let alone who are the baddies.   You know if you have been given the brush off but should you welcome the opportunity for a "Brush-by" ? In the US they are no longer restricted to official meetings,informal meetings and secret meetings they now also have "Brush-bys".
