The booklet for the new Edinburgh Carers Council Eating Disorder Peer Support Service has been printed and is now available on our website. I've also attached an electronic copy here for you to look over. As a reminder, this booklet expands upon the newest service we are now offering which provides peer support to carers of adults (16-18 years and older) with an eating disorder. We do this in three main ways: through a localized peer group based in Edinburgh, a group for carers of inpatients and recently discharged outpatients of the Regional Eating Disorder Unit in St. Johns, and through 1:1 peer support pairing volunteers who have lived experience with carers. I strongly encourage passing along this information to anyone you think may benefit from the service and if you speak to anyone who would like to be a part of this, I am always contactable by this email.
