I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and wish you good health and happiness for the New Year.
After a break for Covid we’re restarting our community outreach programme with a Living Well as We Age Information Event on the 6th Feb in Juniper Green between 10am and 1pm.
Please share this information and the attached poster with any of your network you think would be interested in knowing
On the day we’ll have representatives from and information about..
Dementia Friendly Pentlands, The Meeting Place & Pentlands Men's Shed, all local services to Juniper Green, Currie and Balerno
Age Scotland and Care & Repair, charities working with and for older people in Edinburgh and Scotland
Steven Whitby, SOLLA later life financial advisor
COOK Morningside, with samples of their award winning, frozen meals and puddings
Gillespie Macandrew, legal and tax advice – including powers of attorney
Home Instead, companionship care in the comfort of your own home
I hope to see some of you on the 6th Feb – and thanks for your help spreading the word!
Now more than ever a little bit of kindness is going to go a long way,
Andrew
