Exciting news for Knowledge Hub - Knowledge Hub Team

We’re excited to share the news that Knowledge Hub will be getting a whole lot closer to our digital development partner, PFI Knowledge Solutions Limited (PFIKS), after our parent company acquired a major controlling share-holding in the company.

PFIKS are a digital solutions & services company with an international client base spanning both the public and private sector. They provide an integrated approach to the design, build, operation and maintenance of digital services to help their clients capitalise on transformational opportunities and better customer engagement through professional, open source platforms.

What does this mean for Knowledge Hub and its members?

In the immediate term we’ll be working with PFIKS to bring you a new and improved Knowledge Hub; built using the new Liferay Digital Experience Platform (Liferay DXP) and enhanced by TeamWorXX 3, from PFIKS. And of course incorporating what we have learned from those of you that took part in the user experience feedback survey and workshops. More to follow here in the coming weeks!

What does this mean for the public sector?

Positive disruption! Feature rich, social collaboration tools to replace your traditional static intranets with a modern, digital office that’s designed to make the day job easier for public sector professionals. A digital platform, built with local government for local government, to redesign online engagement with customers; councils can accelerate their digital journey at a lower cost of investment by leveraging the work of the partnership between Bristol City Council and PFIKS.
