The winners of the TW3 Awards are…

The winners of the The Cabinet Office’s ‘The Way We Work Awards’ (TW3) were announced yesterday. We were excited as two of our networks had been shortlisted – the Government Project Delivery Community (GovPDC) and Health Project Delivery Community (HealthPDC). See our earlier blog about the awards.

And the winner is…

A big congratulations to the Infrastructure and Projects Authority who won the Technology Award - best utilisation of technology to enable mobility and collaboration – for the creation of the GovPDC. Sue Phillips, Adrian Davis and Joe Dowse have been busy setting up their groups and working with their Civil Service members to improve collaboration. Here they are with their award!

And congratulations to the health family organisations, who were Highly Commended in the Technology Award category for the creation of the HealthPDC. Pictured with their award are Jo Stanford, Health Education England, Barry Spruce, Department of Health, and Neil Pirie, Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), with Dr. Nicola Millard, BT, (also pictured above) who presented the award to them for leading the collaborative development between 10 national health and social care organisations.

These networks are connecting project and programme delivery colleagues across the public sector. We are delighted that they are both winners, and are being recognised for their efforts in setting up a range of collaboration groups for engaging members across organisational boundaries.

A huge congratulations to both networks! It’s been fantastic working with such a committed bunch of facilitators and members, and we look forward to seeing how these communities grow and continue to transfrom the project delivery profession.

Congratulations to the team on their win in the TW3 Awards. Another great example of Smart Working in Government. Can we add a tag 'Smart Working' to this post as well?
