Recently there have been a few questions on how to use the events function on Khub and some discussion on using it to track event booking. It’s fair to say that Khub is designed to help you publicise events but it’s not a tracking/booking/ticketing system. We decided a long time ago that this kind of functionality was available elsewhere in a form far better than we could hope to replicate and could be connected to Khub.
Eventbrite is currently one of the best places for this kind of thing and given you can now embed all sorts of widgets and buttons from their site (http://help.eventbrite.co.uk/customer/en_gb/portal/articles/428637-promotional-tools-overview). It integrates well with Khub events. To take advantage of this just use the ‘embed media’ button and paste your embed codes in the pop-up window.
Press save and hey presto, you have a booking and ticketing system. You have to set the event up on Eventbrite first of course but the process is a doddle and totally free.
