Adult social care outcomes framework - interactive comparison tools for local authorities

This interactive report produced by NHS Digital enables local authorities to view their 2015-16 data alongside England, regional and council type averages. The Peer Group sheet also enables comparison alongside 15 comparable councils. It is built on the CSV file which can be found with the ASCOF publications. Before making comparisons over time, the information in Appendix C of the 2015-16 publication (comparability over time) should be considered.

All headline measures from the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework are available to view in LG Inform which is freely accessible for all staff in all councils. The following ready-made interactive reports are available to view and/or adapt, and all measures are available to include in user designed reports using the report builder. Reports include a variety of displays including heat maps, tables and charts. All can be downloaded as graphics or as a csv file containing the underlying data.

The first two pages provide detailed results for all ASCOF measures for the England which are then repeated to show a summary of performance for the selected authority on subsequent pages.

LGA Research Report - Regional comparison of measures from the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework (ASCOF)

This provides a regional view of measures from the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework for England (ASCOF), the first two pages provide detailed results for all ASCOF measures for the selected area, showing time series values where they are available. The remaining pages show for each measure a comparison of the regional and national data.
