The Department of Health’s Transparency Team would like to invite you to a Workshop on Intelligent Transparency in Health and Social Care. This event will be held in two locations:
· London: Thursday 21st July, 14:00-15:30 at Richmond House, 79 Whitehall, London SW1A 2NS.
· Manchester: Friday 22nd July, 11:00-12:30 at King's House Conference Centre, Seminar Room 3, King's Church, Sidney Street, Manchester M1 7HB.
This is an opportunity to discuss how comparative data can drive improvements in health and care services. They are keen to hear how you currently use data to support your decisions; what the positive and challenging experiences with using published data have been; and what, in your view, the Department of Health can do to support transparency. They will also seek your feedback on existing online resources for health and care performance data, and are particularly interested to hear from planners and commissioners across the health and social care spectrum. This includes CCG board members / Non-Executive Directors.

Note that you will not need to prepare for the workshops – just come ready to participate and discuss.
