I am about to begin an offer of support to help councillors to feel more comfortable with becoming involved in pre-application discussions. It would be very good to be able to include members of councils that already do have an active approach to councillors taking part in pre-application discussions in our offer to deliver this support - nothing so effective as sector led good practice!. So as a starting point, I am trying to develop a resource list of councils who have experienced councillors .
If you have been operating a pre-application offer to prospective applicants and this includes being able to discuss proposals with members - either in face to face meetings or through developer forums etc, cold you please let me know.
