Pubs- will LPAs publicise notifications received re permitted changes?

There is a requirement (GPDO 2015 Part 3 Classes A and B) to notify the LPA and wait 56 days before enacting any permitted change of use of a public house.

It appears that the intention of this notice period is to allow the public to lodge an application to register the public house as an ACV in this time if they wish to (and have not done so already).

There is however no requirement for the LPA to publicise these notifications in any way. Therefore it is feasible that a notification could be submitted to the LPA, and after 56 days the permitted change or demolition could still be enacted without any public awareness of the proposal.

Whilst it is not a statutory requirement, I would be interested to know if any LPAs do have procedures in place to publicise these notifications. If there are notifications up on Council websites already it would be great to have a link to see how this is being done.
