We have received an application for a certificate of lawfulness for a proposed detached garage/swimming pool measuring 121.32 sq m. The building is obviously CIL liable, but I want to make sure I understand what is required/allowed.

Am I right in thinking that the applicant needs to submit CIL form 5? And then are they able to apply for a self build extension exemption?

This is the first one I have come across so haven't got anything to compare it to.

Any advice gratefully received!
