As a Local Authority Planning Policy Officer, I am currently considering how we can best promote self-build and custom-build housing across the District. We are a very small team with a large workload so resources are thin although we do have the New Burdens funding we can access. It would be great to hear how other local authorities are putting their New Burdens funding to good use and promoting self-build and custom-build housing across your areas beyond simply maintaining a register of interest on your website. I'm sure there must be many examples of good practice out there!
