Hi, new to the forum but looking fwd to active membership. Have a query. 916 sq, mt building currently B1/B2/B8 looking to change use to D2, planning app submitted but LPA responded by saying this fell into major application class and therefore want D & A statement etc., etc. Surely at this scale this is a minor aplication? In addition to the 916 sq mt there are also 25 demised parking spaces, say, another 312.5 sq mt of parking...but the parking will remain as parking and the site does not have a stand-alone disposition therefore the areas between the parking bays are not demised, thus the land and building which is the subject of the change of use is restricted to 916 sq mt.
Any advice appreciated.
