Xmas presents for a potential planner ? - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Some of you may already have met Annie - she joined us in PAS from a charity and has an interest in learning more about planning. She is even trying to spend the day with a planning department. 

We have been arguing about the best xmas present to get her. Not something too dry and academic but something to see if there is a "spark" of interest that might lead on to something more formal. . 

Somone suggested the biography of Jane Jacobs. Anyone got any better / different ideas ?
