We appear to be receiving appeal start letters in batches, the other week West Suffolk received 9 appeal start letters in one week. It is putting a lot of pressure on our Technical Team. This process must delay the appeal for the appellant and I would have thought that the start letters should be sent on once the appeal has been made valid? PINS response was that they batch them so that an inspector can concentrate on one area which helps with site visits. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any suggestions on how to resolve?
