Para 145(g) 2nd bullet reads:
not cause substantial harm to the openness of the Green Belt, where
the development would re-use previously developed land and contribute
to meeting an identified affordable housing need within the area of
the local planning authority.
Does anyone have a view as to the LPA's flexibility when deciding on
what is meant by 'contribute' in the extract above? The judgement is
particularly relevant on an application of say, 7 dwellings on a site
that is less than 0.5h and no local affordable housing policies are
engaged. In this scenario if 1 or 2 of the 7 dwellings were
affordable, would that engage the 2nd bullet of 145(g)?
