Fees for Mezzanine Floors

Hi,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a plain english explanation of how to calculate fees where mezzanine floor space is included please?

1. Measure the total floor space in square metres, adding the mezzanine area to the ground floor.

2. Calculate the fee using the table in the back of the planning fee regulations (Google it, don't use the condensed one on the Planning Portal because it's wrong).
