MONITORING OF SELF BUILD DEVELOPMENT

Hi all,

Here at TDBC we have reached the stage where we have received our first Self-Build Claim Part 2.

The liable party has successfully submitted all the necessary evidence, so that is that hurdle jumped, but can I ask how other Authorities monitor that the self-build propoerties remain in the same ownership?

I know that the land charge remains in place so any local land searches that are carried out will alert me but does anyone do anything additional to this?

I guess my question really is how important is self-build site monitoring?

Hi Rebecca. I raised a similar question here already - https://khub.net/group/planningadvisoryservicepas/forum/-/message_boards/message/16799103/maximized We will be monitoring for disq.events. Toward the end of each clawback period, I'll look to check ownership/occupation (see that feed).
