I recently added one of the CIL courses in London
and have been looking at how we measure CIL following the
measuring sessions and I have now confused myself. I would be
really grateful for some assistance if possible.
I have set out the proposal below, the existing
café is 367sqm which reduced to 175qsm and a total of 429sqm of
resi. We only have a CIL rate on resi.

I think part of the issue is that we use Acolaid
for CIL purposes and usually in such circumstances we could put
the existing (367) in the demolition field which then auto
calculates an apportionment to the uses.
Any help would be gratefully received and apologies
if this is really simple - it may be that I am overthinking this.
