I'm new at CIL and would like some assistance with S73 applications.
Scenario
Planning permission (A) granted for a new dwelling,an Assumption of
Liability completed and self build exemption granted. The
development has commenced and a commencement notice received and
acknowledged and a Liability and Demand Notice issued with relief
applied. The development has recently been completed however a S73
application(B) has been submitted to vary the approved plans. The
GIA has not changed and therefore the chargeable amount remains the same.
Could you confirm the correct process for dealing with this scenario.
The agent should submit Form 1, I should request a new AOL of
liability form, the existing self build exemption can be carried over
to the planning permission (B) as no change in the chargeable
amount. Should a new liability notice and demand notice be issued on
planning permission B with the chargeable amount as calculated in
Planning Permission A? Self Build form 7 part 2 should be completed
for Planning Permission B within 6 months of the completion
certificate being issued.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
