Conversion of one dwellinghouse to two or more - Public forum - Planning Advisory Service (PAS)

Hi,

Reg 6 states that you can change the use of a building previously used as a single dwellinghouse to use as two or more separate dwellinghouses - What happens if they are extending the dwellinghouse to create an additional dwellinghouse?  Is this still covered by Reg 6?
