Has anybody gone down the path of an affordable no of bedrooms policy?
We are contemplating using bedrooms rather than units to get around tricky viability arguments which we always lose. It would give us an element of flexibility and ensure that we get larger family housing not 2 bed flats i.e. we would ask for 40% of bedrooms per development.
A possible downside would be developers 'hiding' bedrooms i.e. making huge bedrooms that could later be partitioned or having offices or playrooms instead.
1) Has anyone else chosen to seek a % of bedrooms on a development?
2) Can anyone think of any other possible downsides....?
