The Department for Levelling Up, and Housing Communities (DLUHC) is seeking Expressions of Interest from councils who want to improve their planning software, so that it supports the vision set out in the Planning for the Future White Paper.
New partner councils should be committed to a vision for planning software that is accessible, interoperable, and facilitates the effective use of data to improve the efficiency and transparency of planning services.
Councils are invited to submit applications under one of two Expressions of Interest:
- The RIPA/BOPS EOI: Up to £400,000 of funding each is available for circa 5 new councils to join the project team to design and begin implementing the RIPA/BOPS products. Find out more and apply to the RIPA/BOPS EOI.
- The Development Management Software Pathfinder EOI: Up to £150,000 of funding each is available for circa 10 councils who wish to upgrade their existing software by working with their current service providers. Find out more and apply to the Development Management Software Pathfinder EOI.
The Expressions of Interest will close on 26 November 2021 at 5:00pm.
