Is there any existing example of s106 used to facilitate additional build for an acedamy as a priority over other community need in the area based on the new housing development projecting pressures on places at the academy. It assumes funding for academies for such expansion of teaching capacity is permissible from s106 but I have understood that funding for academies is from central government and not LA resources given academies run their own budgets and should therefore apply for additional resources from central government?
