Does anybody have good examples of standard conditions or obligations being used to deliver 'economic development/employment' objectives? I would appreciate it if you could share these with me along with any 'policy hooks' used to underpin them? I would also be interested to hear whether or not it is considered appropriate to use either conditions or obligations, or whether one is more appropriate than the other etc.?

My authority gives significant priority to supporting and generating local employment opportunities and are quite keen to use the Planning System to try and secure a certain proportion of local jobs/local contractors on certain types of development. I would certainly appreciate help from anybody experienced in doing this elsewhere. Thanks in advance, Simon

I referred in my post to an s106 with Stroud District Council which required an approved "employment and training policy" to be implemented.  That s106 is attached.
