Dear all, Quick enquiry as to whether or not anyone has had issues with people holding advertising signs? Have you any thoughts on if this is accepted, as we are finding they are placing themselves in unacceptable locations on the public highway. (one stage the person was sat on a roundabout) Any assistance with this issue would be appreciated. Jamie

Hi Jamie, If you look at Part 1 of the TCPA Advertisement Regulations section 2 Interpretation advertisement does not include a placard or other object borne by an individual or an animal so this wouldn't be controlled as an advert. If they are causing onstruction or highway safety issue I think I would get police involved.

What about posters held by public sector workers outside their places of employment? ;-)
